Micara Land, Inc. (MLI) participated in the International Orchestrated Coastal Clean-up last September 19, 2015, with the theme “Bayanihan Para Sa Malinis Na Katubigan At Karagatan”.
MLI cleaned up its adopted river, Rio de Obispo, in Barangay Sahud-Ulan, Tanza, Cavite, together with Barangay Sahud-Ulan officials, and other river adopters. September has been declared as National Clean-Up Month, and the Department of Environment and Natural-Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) encouraged the river adopters to join this event as part of the celebration.
On June 27, 2015 MLI also joined DENR-EMB river clean-up project in Cavite as part of the Nationwide Orchestrated Clean-Up, in celebration of Philippine Environmental Month.
DENR-EMB recognizes the tireless effort of the adopters in the rehabilitation of the river and other water bodies. MLI supports this project as part of its “Alaga ang Kalikasan” advocacy.
