IT was a three-day wedding celebration when Jesse Ho Maxwell and Jessica Kienle tied the knot in the island paradise of El Nido, Palawan. Friends and family from all over the world came to Pangulasian Island to celebrate the union of this handsome couple.
Planning an out-of-town wedding (and on a remote island, no less) is a huge challenge, but thankfully, the couple had plenty of help, especially from the groom’s mother Doris Ho—an expert when it comes to events and entertaining.
Their months of planning paid off, because the weekend was simply breathtaking. The festivities began with a casual barbecue on a sandbar, which was followed by a welcome dinner the next night—the highlight of which was a surprise musical presentation from the couple’s entourage and parents.
The actual wedding was the first Catholic ceremony to be held on an El Nido beach, with the couple exchanging their vows as the sun set—the moment could not have been more perfect. Dinner, drinks and dancing followed in a tent right next to the water, illuminated with colorful lights. Everything was elegantly done, resulting in what was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful weddings of the year.
