Because of brand loyalty, I have been using Summer’s Eve as feminine wash for years. Because it’s a foreign brand, I hoard it when I’m abroad. It’s scarce locally and one finds it at Cash & Carry once in a while. But because I had run out of supply, I found Sebamed in a pharmacy and used it reluctantly. To my surprise I loved it.

I know it’s quite awkward writing about a feminine wash I “enjoy,” but I’ve been using Sebamed for some time now. I have also slowly started using other pharmaceutical products.

I’ve also shifted to Sebamed for my kids because other products are scented and scent is not the best on baby skin. This is not to say that Sebamed’s products don’t smell good, it’s just that smell is not their draw. It has the best pH balance for babies, is mild and made by a pharmaceutical company.

According to Sebamed, Baby Sebamed was developed specifically for the needs of sensitive children’s skin. It is also dermatologically tested for compatibility. Its pH value of 5.5 plays a particularly important role in children’s early years, because it promotes the formation of the acid mantle.

Baby Sebamed can be used along with a course of treatment for neurodermatitis, eczema, skin infections and other types of irritation, but you should confirm this with your child’s pediatrician beforehand.

The cleansing products in the range start to protect and nourish the skin as soon as one begins washing with them, while the care products calm irritated skin, support the healing process and help protect the delicate skin of children.

This product has been beneficial for my kids, specifically Balthazar. He has asthma of the skin and also gets rashes. Since shifting to Sebamed, he hasn’t suffered from too much irritation. I honestly think the purity of this product has helped him a lot. In fact our derma also approves of it.

I suggest you ask your derma and friends who’ve tried it. It’s easily available at PCX and Watsons.

I posted the products on my Instagram @RiaRecommends and was contacted by a Sebamed representative. They asked if I would be willing to introduce Sebamed to my “mommy friends” and I happily obliged. So, together with my friend Sanj Licaros, we hosted a lunch for Ria Recommends and I happily shared this wonderful product line for babies.
