Binge-watching horror movies is the perfect way to spend Halloween. People are drawn to the horror-suspense genre because of the spine-tingling chills they get from it.

The University of the Philippines Cinema Arts Society (UP Cast) is in fact holding its annual “Aswangan Fright Night” on Nov. 5. “Aswangan” is an annual inter-school short horror film contest open to all college students across the country. Theme is “Pamahiin” or superstition.

“Aswangan Fright Night” will be held at Exile on Main Street, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, starting at 9 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by Maegan Caburong, Mervine Aquino and Slow Sink.
Admission is free. The festival is supported by Uber and Wrigley’s.
