In response to Maxine Medina’s heartwarming post, Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 Kiran Jassal took to social media to send her love for her “roomie.”

On Wednesday, Jassal posted her selfie with the Filipina beauty queen on Instagram with a special message for her. “Missing the roomie Maxine Medina,” she said. “24 K[arat] Magic will always hold a special place in my heart.”

Likewise, Miss Universe USA Deshauna Barber also recalled her bonding times with Medina, Jassal, and Miss Universe Curacao Chanelle de Lau.

Before flying to Brunei for a family outing, Medina, 26, penned a memorable shout-out to her roommate on the photo-sharing app and vowed to visit her soon. “I’m getting emotional when I saw this in my bag as I’m really missing my roommate. She’s the first person I always see in the morning and I’m always with when Miss Universe 2016 started,” she wrote.
