The Philippine Orchid Society, with the Quezon City government, holds its 71st Annual Orchid and Garden Show at Quezon Memorial Circle, Hardin ng mga Bulaklak Area (Flower Garden) Elliptical Road, Diliman, Quezon City, until March 7.
The theme: “Philippine Orchids for beauty, unity and prosperity.”
The show features floral and plant displays/competition exhibits, daily lectures, container garden designs, flower arrangements, and a commercial bazaar that is expected to attract 30,000 visitors.
Free daily lectures at 2 p.m. will cover a variety of topics, including spices, ornamentals, arrangement, urban agriculture and more.
A section of the Quezon Memorial Circle grounds in Quezon City will be transformed into a tropical paradise adorned with orchids and plants.
