A Japanese delivery guy from Domino’s Pizza attempted to battle through the overwhelming winds of Typhoon Jebi.

The delivery guy was caught on camera and shared by Japanese Twitter user “@pur305” through a tweet on Sept. 4. It has been watched nearly three million times as of this writing. The less-than-one-minute footage showed the besieged delivery guy on a white scooter get stopped in the middle of the road as strong typhoon winds battered him from the front. The winds were strong enough to become partially visible through the raindrops they carried.

This unfortunate delivery guy tried to stand his ground, but the winds were strong enough to force his scooter to turn and eventually push it over to its side. The man had to slightly jump out to prevent his foot from getting crushed by the toppling scooter. The footage ended with the delivery guy struggling to stay upright against the winds while holding on for dear life on a what appeared to be an orange lane divider.

It’s either there’s a customer somewhere with a strong craving for pizza on a stormy day, or he missed the memo where everyone was asked to stay indoors due to Typhoon Jebi being the strongest storm to hit mainland Japan in 25 years.

Another Twitter user with the handle “@ishidatsu,” who lived in the same apartment complex as @pur305, also caught the incident on camera and shared his vantage point on a tweet on the same day. This second video revealed a fellow motorcycle rider on the sidewalk struggling just to keep his own two-wheeler upright.

Meanwhile, Twitter users who saw the video took pity on the delivery guy and criticized the company for allowing him to go out in the given weather condition, according to SoraNews24.

One of the comments left on the tweet read, “Who would let someone deliver pizza on a scooter in the middle of a typhoon? Surely employee safety is a company obligation.”

Typhoon Jebi had recorded winds of up to 180 kilometers per hour. Some of the areas that were directly in the storm’s path were the prefectures of Hyogo, Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Ehime, Kagawa and Wakayama.  /ra
