MAKATI, Metro Manila, Philippines — The restaurant where U2 frontman Bono, guitarist The Edge and four companions dined, after the Irish superstar rock band arrived via private plane Dec. 9 at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia), was Grace Park in Rockwell, Makati.
Grace Park owner Margarita Fores herself hosted the dinner.
In her Instagram page, Fores posted: “And he said, ‘Dance with me!’ Thank you so much for giving us the chance to feed you for your first meal in Manila! @u2 We hope you loved the lechon, adobo, diwal pasta and more . #bono pinch me please and tell me this is all real!”
U2’s “The Joshua Tree” tour 2019 makes a stop on Dec. 11 at the Philippine Arena.
