America's Got Talent star Marcelito Pomoy donates school supplies for kids | Lifestyle.INQ

Singer and America’s Got Talent (the champions edition) finalist Marcelito Pomoy has been keeping himself busy lately with a very good cause — that is, assisting school children as classes are about to start, by giving them  school supplies.

Pomoy expressed his gratitude to those who helped in the effort by donating school supplies, disinfectants and other necessary goods, as per his Facebook post on Aug. 13.

“God will provide!!! 35 schools and counting!!!” he stated, along with a list of the beneficiary schools.

“So happy to be able to help and be a blessing to others… hoping that our donation can help you in such a simple way,” he addressed the schools.

And while he is sharing his blessings, he asked the teachers to “continue doing what you love best which is teaching” and the students to “never lose hope” as “our future depends on you.”

Among the elementary and high schools assisted were: Tinambulan ES, Sto. Domingo ES, Tabansak ES, Mhacvega Kiddieland Learning Center, Calauag East ES, Sumilang ES, San Roque ES, Mambaling ES, Atulayan ES, Bantulinao ES, Tiniguiban ES, Kinalin ES, Anahawan ES, Dominlog ES, Apad National HS, Tamis ES, Butanguiarin ES, Lainglaingan ES, Atulayan ES, Pandan NHS, San Roque Ilaya NHS, Rufina NHS, Bantulinao NHS, Rufina ES, Lagay NHS, Villa San Isidro NHS, Madlandungan ES, Sto. Angel NHS, Apad NHS, Tamis ES, Dominlog SHS, Calauag East Central ES, Sumulong ES, St. Peter’s School, Capaluhan ES and St. Peter the Apostle Parish.

Pomoy has been known to be charitable to those in need. He has previously helped an elderly woman build her home in Quezon province after he saw her dilapidated dwelling. He also had four houses built for those who he also found to be in need of a modest home. He has stated before that he is able to donate out of his earnings. JB
