An internationally acclaimed and multiawarded artist, Rene Robles has held solo exhibitions across Asia, Europe and America. His art has found its way into the private collections of former King Juan Carlos of Spain and former US President Bill Clinton. He is notable for founding the award-winning art movement called Assertionism with the underlying principle that “art has the power to assert, transform and transcend.”
A nominee for the Order of the National Artist Award this year, Robles will hold an exhibit titled “Assertionism: The Art of Rene Robles” until Jan. 22 at Museo Francisco, Le Village Lifestyle Park, E. Rodriguez corner Cordillera Street, Quezon City. The art gallery-winery is open daily from 3 p.m. to 12 a.m.
