Runners all over know the struggle of choosing good running shoes: it’s not impossible, but it can be hard to find a solid pair that also doesn’t look pretty outrageous. (Kicks for running generally tend to look wild, for one reason or another.) Sometimes, you just want something you can reliably hit the pavement with, but don’t have to change out of when you have to go somewhere and look well put-together.
Adidas wants to solve that problem with the ultraBOOST Uncaged. Their new reimagined running shoe’s got that comfy Primeknit upper (with that shirt-like knit collar a lot of people look for nowadays) the brand is well-known for (and is currently in right now), built into the famous ultraBOOST outsole. The ultraBOOST cage is done away with for a cleaner, sleeker look that places the knitted upper front and center. Other new inclusions include a three-tiered lacing system with flat laces that leave the fit up to you.
The result of this redesign is a brand-new silhouette, similar to some but still quite distinct, that you can run and walk in just about anywhere.
The ultraBOOST Uncaged is already out in your nearest adidas branch, for only P8,995.
