LIST: Adjusted mall hours for Holy Week 2019 | Lifestyle.INQ

As the observance of the Holy Week approaches, a number of malls all over this predominantly Catholic country are adjusting their operating hours. Some will even be closed for days.

This adjustment came after President Rodrigo Duterte declared that Apr. 18, Maundy Thursday, and Apr. 19, Good Friday, are regular holidays while Apr. 20, Black Saturday, is a special non-working holiday.

In case you’re planning to take your family out on those days, here’s a list of mall operating hours to guide you:

SM Supermalls

Apr. 14 to 16 (Palm Sunday to Holy Tuesday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Apr. 17 (Wednesday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Apr. 18 (Maundy Thursday): All malls will be closed except the following:

  • SM City Baguio: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • SM By the Bay: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
  • SM Puerto Princesa: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • SM Hypermarket will remain open from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Apr. 19 (Good Friday): All malls will be closed except the following:

  • SM City Baguio: 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
  • SM By the Bay: 4 p.m. to 12 a.m.
  • SM Hypermarket will remain open from 9 a.m. to 12 a.m.

Apr. 20 to 21 (Black Saturday to Easter Sunday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Podium, Mandaluyong City

Apr. 14 to 17 (Palm Sunday to Holy Tuesday): 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Apr. 18 to 19 (Maundy Thursday to Good Friday): Closed
Apr. 20 to 21 (Black Saturday to Easter Sunday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Ayala Malls Circuit

Greenhills Mall, San Juan City

Apr. 14 (Palm Sunday): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Apr. 15 to 17 (Holy Monday to Holy Wednesday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Apr. 18 to 19 (Maundy Thursday to Good Friday): Closed
Apr. 20 (Black Saturday): 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Apr. 21 (Easter Sunday): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
