One of the things we definitely missed amid the pandemic last year was all the trade fairs and art shows that showcased the best of local craftsmanship. It wasn’t just a shopping opportunity (which made our team’s wallets tremble, honestly)—it was an opportunity to get to know the various products and art from around the country. For others, these trade fairs also became inspirations to create their own products and small businesses.

Things are looking up this year though, because these fairs have started to adapt to the online space. One such fair is the Negros Trade Fair. Though canceled last year, the Negros Trade Fair’s 35th edition will once again go live this year both through an e-commerce website and an on-site selling event.

Starting May 29, the online edition of Negros Trade Fair on shopnegrostradefair.com will feature natural and organic products, food, clothes and accessories, furniture, homeware, and decor by craftsmen and SMEs in Negros. There will also be a highlight on agriculture and tourism.

Some of the brands to be featured include:

Creative Definitions Amalia throw
Marayo shampoo bar
Inday mosaic by NVC Foundation
Virgie’s Mango Tart

The Association of Negros Producers, who spearheads the fair, will also open an on-site selling event in Bacolod City.
