Health and beauty are tied together | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

I felt that I was in a contest of the worst beauty disasters and I was going for gold.

My hair was so greasy and was falling out that I had to wash it twice a day. My acne was blossoming like nobody’s business, and I couldn’t sleep more than three hours a night straight, so I was exhausted, had uncontrollable sugar and fast food cravings and itched all over.

I was bloated, constipated, puffy and gassy. All the time my legs, fingers and tummy were swelling.

I had all my beauty remedies lined up and while I was able to fix the greasy hair and acne, the rest was beyond my control.

To top it all, aggressive mood swings, depression, bursts of irritability and temper made everyone around me duck for cover.

My mother-in-law then called a home-service blood and health test for the family and I had a thyroid check-up. My results turned out to be most alarming.

My liver was strained, heading toward jaundice and fatty liver due to my meat and fat rich diet. I had bad cholesterol 50 points over: My thyroid switched from hypo to hyper but I was not losing weight due to the strained liver.

The most alarming part was the tell-tale signs of gallstones and bile sludge.

It turns out the hyperthyroid was accountable for the itching, mood swings, acne and insomnia while the gallstones or bile sludge were responsible for the greasy hair, cravings and bloating.

Going to the endocrinologist and the right medication dose will take care of the thyroid problem and its symptoms. For the gallstones, one must schedule an ultrasound test and have the doctor decide if one needs to have them removed or if diet modifications are enough to reverse the condition or prevent an attack.

Going back to glutathione

My main concern though was  my liver.  What did I do?

I went back to Glutathione IV which I had to stop three years ago as I was trying to get pregnant.  I have resumed taking 500 mg a day. Healing the liver is what glutathione is originally for, with whitening only as a side effect.

In my panic I went every week for six sessions but the doctor said every two weeks to once a month is okay for me.

I also went back to my alternative-medicine expert, Dr. Jason Penaranda, for a 14-hour fast for the liver and for the Gallbladder Detox Flush, which had helped clear my results in the past by lowering my cholesterol, uric acid and bringing my liver enzyme range in the normal zone.

From what I could see in the toilet I passed about 20 sinking stones the size of baby teeth and Tic Tacs in tan, white and pale green and a lot of floating green bile and cholesterol fat stones.

On my second flush two weeks later I distinctly saw six stones at the bottom with two being really big and greenish black the size of adult cockroaches. The constipation, bloating and gas have been under control as well.

Liver maintenance

For liver maintenance I take Silymarin Milk Thistle capsules before bed for liver regeneration, and Penaranda’s JCaps before lunch and breakfast. The latter contains turmeric, ginger and cayenne pepper to assist the liver in processing toxins.

The Jcaps help with me sticking to healthy food as it makes me crave for fruits and vegetables and cut hunger pangs and food cravings for junk food.

I have not touched French fries, bacon and ice cream for a month and I do not miss them.  Once the liver is back in perfect health weight loss will progress and energy will be regained.
