A medical physicist hopes to use her new title as Miss Philippines-Earth to highlight the “science behind climate change.”
Karen Ibasco, a 26-year-old medical physicist from Manila, bested 39 other aspirants to the receive 2017 Miss Philippines-Earth crown from her predecessor Loren Mar Artajos.
