Another Filipina booted out of ‘Asia’s Next Top Model’ cycle 5

/ 10:27 AM April 20, 2017

It's a weird feeling but I feel very happy that my job is done. I also wanna thank knowledgeable people who got the logic of the show. Honestly speaking I'm not hurt by any comments because it is indeed funny. I will never be ashamed because we need to do what we need to do. You can waste time but you can't waste mine. You guys only see the version of us that you see on your screens and the story that we are making. I hope you guys learned your lesson because at the end of the day we all know the truth and you don't. We are in the show and you are dying to be in the show. The best part is that we just laugh it out every time we talk about everything. My friendship with all the girls is the best prize I could have ever received.. We are family and we are all Asia's Next Top Model. And lastly to the loyal people who chose to believe in me thank you so much for all the support from the day I entered the show up to now that I entered the real world of modeling. Big things are coming my way! My passion for my profession is everything. This is what I love, this is why I wake up everyday, no one and nothing can stop me from reaching my dreams. I am Jennica Sanchez and I am more than a reality show. PS: Yutsai said he loves this photo but they didn't show it and thanks for the free haircut. I'm rockin it ❤️

Another Filipina hopeful ended her journey in the fifth cycle of “Asia’s Next Top Model” on Wednesday.

Jennica Sanchez was eliminated during the show’s third episode for obtaining the lowest score in the show’s denim photo shoot challenge.

She aired her thoughts on Instagram and promised herself to be more than just a reality-show contestant.

“It’s a weird feeling but I feel very happy that my job is done,” she wrote. “I will never be ashamed because we need to do what we need to do. You can waste time but you can’t waste mine. You guys only see the version of us that you see on your screens and the story that we are making.”

Likewise, she reflected on her bonding moments with her fellow contestants. “My friendship with all the girls is the best prize I could have ever received. My passion for my profession is everything. This is what I love, this is why I wake up every day, no one and nothing can stop me from reaching my dreams.”

After Anjelica Santillan, Sanchez is the second Filipina to leave “Asia’s Next Top Model.” Maureen Wroblewitz is now the sole contestant representing the country on the show hosted by Cindy Bishop. A Filipina model has yet to win the show, which has aired for four seasons already.  Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
