Consumers are bound to look for more online marketplaces now that the holiday season is approaching. With small businesses shifting to digital platforms in this crisis, products and services have become more accessible. There’s one online shopping event set at the end of the month—and it will last for three days.
Globe myBusiness’ Gift Local campaign, which promotes local products, will be holding an e-bazaar with Lazada on Nov. 27 to 29. The e-bazaar will feature small and medium enterprises (SMEs), including a live selling session that will be streamed on Lazada and Globe myBusiness’ Facebook.
The event is in collaboration with Ayala Malls and SM Premier Malls, which will hold a social media promo that encourages safe dining and shopping.
As part of the government’s advocacy, Ingat Angat Tayong Lahat, the e-bazaar hopes to contribute in restarting the Philippine economy by building consumer confidence and guiding private corporations and SMEs on the best safety practices they can adopt in their operations.
Through various digital solutions, SMEs can help ensure the safety of their customers and employees. Services such as GCash for cashless transactions and KonsultaMD for employees’ telehealth service also have been made available to Globe myBusiness’ partner SMEs.
