LeSportsac celebrates its 40th-year anniversary with four seasons of retrospective yet modern capsules of four decades of iconic American aesthetic.
In 1974 in New York City, LeSportsac was founded on the principle of lightweight rip-stop nylon made chic with clean, utilitarian styles and a rainbow of bright colors. The 40th anniversary collection has four seasonal capsules of products which had been inspired by original LeSportsac styling. Each decade will be celebrated in its own unique season in Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter 2014.
The first season carries original styles such as the Camera Bag and Pullman, updated with new interior pockets designed for modern necessities like laptops and smaller tech items. The spectrum of solids and dots, with latte webbing, are direct references to the 1974-1984 aesthetic, with a new LePatch quilt-like repeat that references over 192 of LeSportsac’s most popular prints.
Sporty tricolor logo on the grosgrain detail is also a LeSportsac original.
LeSportsac is exclusively distributed by Stores Specialists Inc. (SSI) and is at Greenbelt 5, Rustan’s Makati, Rustan’s Shangri-La Plaza Mall, Alabang Town Center, Gateway Mall, Ayala Center Cebu and Robinsons Magnolia.
