What you’ll need:
- Wood molding, may be purchased in large hardware stores
- Wall screws or nails
- Hammer or drill
- Saw
How:
- Measure the width of the wall you’ll be using.
- With a saw, cut the molding to size.
- Mark the wall for the screws or nails to hold up the molding.
- Drill a hole at the back of the molding on both ends to fit the head of the screw or nail.
- Hang the wood molding.
Hang your shoes!

Paint the wood molding in bright colors to punch up the look or, for a classic touch, use a gold or silver finish.
