Traveling from Manila to Pampanga in 55 minutes is possible | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

The two-hour travel time from Manila to Pampanga will soon be 55 minutes only. On June 26, the Department of Transportation marked five (Marilao, Meycauayan, Valenzuela, Caloocan, and Tutuban) of the 17 stations for the new Manila-Clark Railway Project.

Aside from those five stations, other stations are in Solis, Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto, Malolos, Calumpit, Apalit, San Fernando, Angeles, Clark, Clark International Airport, and the proposed New Clark City.

With 13 train sets, the train system can run at 120 km per hour and can cater to 350,000 passengers. Hopefully, it will also reduce traffic. “This project will ease traffic congestion and help thousands of commuters coming from Bulacan and Pampanga who travel daily to their workplaces or schools in Metro Manila,” Philippine National Railways general manager Junn Magno told Inquirer.net.

With the start of construction in the last quarter of 2017, the train system is supposed to be running in 2021. When the long wait is over, you can go shopping in Tutuban and be at Clark, Pampanga in 55 minutes.
