Dr. Steve Mark Gan, president and CEO of Metro Dental, and Rene Buenaventura, vice chair of Equicom Group of Companies, formally opened the new branches.
The launch was graced by celebrity Kim Chiu, a daughter of Cebu.

HSBC conversations
HSBC president and CEO Tony Cripps held the bank’s first Market Conversation and Cocktails for a très chosen group of HSBC Premier customers at his swanky South Forbes Park home.
The happening started off with delectable pan-Asian nibbles, such as crispy shells with roasted duck filling, succulent prawn rolls in Thai chili dip, and the superb lemongrass crème brulee, dahlings.
Cripps gave a short economic briefing that covered Asia’s key markets, as well as the HSBC outlook for the Philippines.
Cliff Cabungcal, HSBC VP for wealth management and product development, then talked about the bank’s newest product for its Premier customers, the Premium Currency Plus, “a product that offers potentially higher returns for investors willing to take on more risk.”
Before coming to the Philippines, Cripps was HSBC’s managing director and head of global markets in Australia. He was also HSBC’s Asia-Pacific head of foreign exchange and rates strategy in the late ’90s.
Après that Tony assured the invitees that given the overwhelmingly positive feedback, Market Conversation would be a regular event for HSBC’s most valued Premier clients.
