Official Statement from Eastwood City Estates Association (ECEA): 

Around 10:30am yesterday morning, there was a minor incident discovered at the Eastwood parking area. A parked car short-circuited and caused a small fire. This was quickly discovered by security personnel and was immediately put out by the firefighting team of Eastwood.

No harm or injury was caused to any persons due to the incident and mall operations are proceeding as normal.

The safety of our guests remains our number one priority and we will continue to assist any of our customers or residents should such incidents occur.
