Raul Isidro in Bacolod
RAUL Isidro is holding his comeback exhibit in Bacolod City on Oct. 17 at Italia Restaurant and Gallery.
On view will be his abstracts.
He held shows in Bacolod in 1976 at the Art Association of Bacolod, 1980 at Budot Lizares Studio and 1997 at Negros Museum.
Tan at Ricco-Renzo
RICCO-RENZO Gallery presents “Color Genesis,” a solo exhibition of Patricia Tan, opening Oct. 22.
Tan orchestrates passages of dazzling rainbow colors in variegated shades of reds, oranges, yellows, blues, greens and purples, characterized by swirls and splashes, flecks and dribbles, sparkling in the liquidity of acrylic pigments and minimally mediated to allow chords of colors to interweave and seek out their predestined forms and shapes.
Show runs until Nov. 10.

Ilarde at Mo Space
NILO Ilarde’s exhibit “If Your Work Speaks for Itself, Don’t Interrupt” runs until Oct. 18 at Mo Space Gallery.
Activating an otherwise bare wall, Ilarde inscribes texts via scraping off the paint, revealing the bold letters and the raw surface of the wall. Ilarde has long been employing this process in his works as a form of excavation, stripping away the layers of paint to reveal both the physicality and history of the space.

J’Adore
JIA Santos-Estrella launches a furniture line called J’Adore, a continuation of the artist’s first solo exhibition in 2012.
A collection of salvaged furniture is transformed into one-of-a-kind creations that present an elegant and whimsical flair. An array of geometric patterns and images from nature are painted in a spectrum of colors, filling the surfaces and giving the pieces a fresh and exquisite look.
