YOUR mantra for the week: “Everything is going right in my life.”
There is a power within you that’s greater than you are. This allows you to co-create with it the kind of life that you desire for yourself.
You build your life through your thoughts. One of the most important thoughts you can carry with you is, “Everything is going right in my life.” Say it to yourself now: “Everything is going right in my life.”
Whatever your circumstances, you know this is part and parcel of your life going right. Carrying this thought all the time brings forth the kind of life that you believe is really right for you—the right outcome.
In your body right now, you know that everything is going right. Whatever has to be restored is now divinely restored in your body. Whatever shape you desire is, right now, beginning to manifest, for, yes, it is part of everything that is going right in your life.
Your body is taking perfect shape. Your weight, too, is exactly your ideal weight. You are now desiring to eat only the food that gives you greater health and energy, that contributes to your well-being.
Every day, you feel young, enthusiastic, vigorous, always aware that your body is a temple of the Living Spirit. It is made up of mostly water—therefore, drink lots of it. And as you drink each glass, say to yourself, “Everything is going right in my life. Thank you, God!”
You bless the water, thank it, appreciate it and tell it exactly what things you desire for your body: healing, strength, energy—whatever you desire. Water is a symbol of the subconscious mind. And as you project your thoughts to it, you are saying to your subconscious mind, “Everything is going right in my life.”
Abundance is everywhere. Abundance is your Divine Inheritance. And whatever you are involved with that has something to do with money, you know everything is going right in that area. All you have to do is revealed to you. You are guided each step of the way. The right people come along to assist you. Everyone you need cooperates with you, making you truly feel that everything is going right in your life.
You have the right project. You have the right business. Day after day, things get better and better. As you think this, the faster it manifests.
Primea is prime
The place to be seen nowadays, it seems, is Primea’s Tapenade because of its Manhattan-like ambiance, especially the exceptionally high ceiling that feels like being outdoors on a cool evening.
And speaking of Manhattan, the oysters in Tapenade’s splendid salad bar attracts those who have experienced the oyster bar at the Plaza Hotel in New York. The oysters may not be as large, but they are truly fresh, and one can easily consume 18 pieces in one seating.
The question is, how do you make space for the other gastronomic items like the breads, cold cuts, cheeses, smoked salmon, risotto and various greens?
On any one evening, you will see the likes of Lani and Conchitina Bernardo who reminded us to vote for Mar Roxas-Leni Robredo for the simple reason that Mar is the most capable and ready to be president.
Also spotted: Oscar and Malou Gopengco-Rodriguez, whose mother Puring was a good friend of my mother Prissy; and Randy and Irene Francisco, who incidentally are busy preparing for the Philippine Tatler’s 14th anniversary benefit ball on Nov. 7 at the Rizal Ballroom, Shangri-La Makati.
Tatler is aiming to raise over P5 million for Operation Smile Philippines, which provides free surgeries to repair cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial deformities for children throughout the country. Tatler will initiate the first 40 operations.
Likewise seen at Tapenade were the Raymundo sisters; Zenaida and Angela Soriano, whose jewelry collections are the envy of many; the vivacious trio of Marivic Vazquez, Conchita Toda and Marilyn Matti; Makati Garden Club president Mindy Perez-Rubio and doting husband Cookie who were entertaining friends; Anton Huang and aunt Maritess Tantoco Enriquez; and Liaa Cojuangco-Bautista and friends.
The Armi in Gilarmi
Others go to the Gilarmi Lounge, right beside the dining room with piano music. That spot brings back memories of the very first Miss Universe, Armi Kuusela-Hilario, who used to be our neighbor in Forbes Park, and who gave us the distinct privilege of watching a Miss Universe sunbathe and swim in our pool. She ultimately became my sister Marla’s godmother; incidentally, both of them were born on Aug. 20. Armi was not only strikingly beautiful, she was also extremely intelligent.
After her husband Virgilio Hilario passed away, she managed several apartments in Metro Manila, including Gilarmi Apartments, which is now Primea— owned by the Tius with Ruben at its helm.
Armi is now married to American diplomat Albert Williams, and lives in a glorious home fronting the Pacific Ocean in San Diego. When I speak of consciousness and think of people like her, one is reminded of the song “Something Good” from “The Sound of Music”: “Somewhere in my youth and childhood (or in another lifetime), I must have done something (so very) good.”
The third time
I campaigned for Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago the first time she ran for president in 1992. Many people still believe she lost because of “improprieties” committed during that election.
But cycle-wise (please refer to my Nov. 2, 2014 column, “All souls go to heaven,” for the explanation of the seven planetary cycles), Fidel V. Ramos, who was on his Moon cycle during that election, had advantage over Miriam’s Saturn cycle. One of the factors I consider in any contest is to find out the cycles that people will be on the day of the competition.
Geminis have the least probability to win, because from the last third of May to June, they would be on their 7th cycle or Karma cycle.
After losing again in the 1998 presidential election, Miriam believes that, “The third time is always a charm.” In my language, it could also be charma. This could also turn out to be good karma, but most of the time, it does not turn out that way.
That is one of the reasons Gibo Teodoro and Ping Lacson never made it to the presidency. Notice that when elections were held in November, a different set of presidents—whose birthday cycles were auspicious for them in relation to the November elections—turned out winners, from Quezon to Marcos.
Feel free to check it out. You might want to change your mind if you are now a candidate.
Miriam’s choice of running mate in Sen. Bongbong Marcos has lessened her chances further. Although she claims that “we should not blame Bongbong for his father’s sins,” I disagree.
She might have overlooked what the Bible says: “Visit the iniquity of the fathers on the children and children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.” Didn’t Bongbong say, “There is nothing wrong with Martial Law”? I rest my case.
It is a pity that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte did not file his certificate of candidacy. Because based on the Seven Cycles theory, he would be on his Sun Cycle, which promises all kinds of victories and blessings.
On the other hand, Sen. Grace Poe will be on her Jupiter cycle of success by May 11. Imagine, if she had run as Duterte’s vice president, one could say the ball game is over. But, of course, there are other factors to consider—one’s political machinery, financial support, strategy, and, most of all, the consciousness of the candidate, how much good or ungood he or she has accumulated in his/her life.
