After Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach has been rightfully crowned as the winner after the botched announcement made by pageant host Steve Harvey, a new controversy on Wurtzbach’s win is brewing.

Hours after the controversial coronation night, Missosology posted a video of Miss Universe Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek saying that she was upset by the results of the pageant, claiming that other candidates did not want Wurtzbach to win.

Riek said that Miss Universe 2015 first runner-up Ariadna Gutierrez was “robbed.”

“I couldn’t believe it. I was so upset because, for me, she was robbed…I was very happy for Colombia, actually. she really deserved it. But I’m very unhappy with the result and so were the other girls, I’m very sorry to say it,” Riek told Missosology’s Natalia Cruz.

When asked why Riek and the other girls went to console Gutierrez, the German beauty queen said: “Because no one of us voted for Philippines. I’m so sorry to say that.”

Riek refused to elaborate on her statement.

Despite ripping Wurtzbach, Riek wished the new Miss Universe a blessed reign.

“I wish Pia a blessed life for her year. But I’m really not happy with the result,” she said.

Meanwhile, Riek described Harvey’s gaffe as “probably the worst ever and ever that happened in your life.”

“I would have handled this probably, I would have passed the crown, like, be proud. I’m still representing the country and I’ll still be proud.”

“Well, the result is the result so… I’m sorry,” she said.

As of Tuesday morning, the video has been viewed 2,211,780 times and shared 26, 297 times. Most of the comments slammed Riek for supposedly being insensitive.

The Miss Universe Organization and Harvey have already apologized for the mix-up.
