Reigning Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach has taken to Facebook to share a video of herself cooking lumpia, a traditional Filipino dish.
Wurtzbach said netizens requested her to cook lumpia during a Facebook Live session last week.
But it was not all cooking as Wurtzbach cracked some jokes and shared some cooking tips while preparing the dish.
Wurtzbach’s lumpia recipe was composed of spring roll paper, chicken breast, carrots, cabbage, sweet potato, string beans, and onion.
The Filipino beauty queen said she imagined the cabbage as the heart of her ex-boyfriend as she broke it into halves.
Wurtzbach also said that more juice could be extracted from a lemon if one would roll it on a flat area before slicing, and that onions become sweeter the longer you sauté them.
“Sarap. You guys should try it,” she said toward the end of the video.
As of writing, the video on the official Miss Universe Facebook page has garnered more than 234,000 views, 15,000 reactions, and 1,500 shares.
