These fast food items are below 350 calories—you’re welcome | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

We’re all guilty of craving for fast food more times than what is necessary. No matter how many articles and health experts warn you about the dangers of processed food, you can’t help but give in to it when the situation is dire. There’s no need to beat yourself up because we totally know how it feels. But if you’re someone who’s trying to eat healthier (like, really trying), we listed a couple of fast food items that are 350 calories or less so take note.

McDonald’s Egg McMuffin

At 300 calories, the Egg McMuffin can be the answer to a quick and filling breakfast when you’re running late for work or for a class. It’s light and has enough protein to last you throughout the morning. Compared to an order of medium fries that contains 320 calories, going for a healthier choice will save you from the guilt in the long run.

Ordering from Subway can be a little tricky because the total calorie count only applies to six-inch subs. Add a couple of extras and you might end up with an 800-calorie meal. But thanks to the power of customization, you can actually build a sandwich that sits at 320 calories. Bacon is not always the enemy but if you’re not a fan, you can replace it with a roasted chicken breast instead. Plus, you can always take advantage of our favorite Subway superpower: unlimited vegetables.

Wendy’s Vanilla Frosty

This Wendy’s classic is actually good for you—as long as you keep it small (one small order of vanilla frosty contains 280 calories). You can enjoy one after a good workout to help your body recover. After all, many experts say chocolate milk is the best post-workout snack. We say frosty is kind of like the same thing, only better.

Starbucks’ Blueberry Greek Yogurt Parfait

Okay, we know they’re not a fast food chain, but we felt the need to include a few items from their menu that might be helpful. If you want something sweet for breakfast just because, you can get the blueberry parfait from Starbucks that only clocks in at 240 calories. The fresh blueberries, nonfat Greek yogurt, and granola will keep you full and energized in the morning.

Starbucks’ Nonfat Caffè Mocha

It pays to know which drinks are actually better for you, especially from a coffee place that is known for their inventive (but overly sugary) frappuccinos. You can easily order their classic brewed coffee which has fewer calories but if you want something a little extra, go for a nonfat caffè mocha. You only consume 170 calories if you get it in size tall. But remember, hold the whip.
