HOSTING a party calls for a bit of creativity. When setting up a buffet, we often look for that perfect container or vessel to keep the cutlery organized. Here’s a DIY activity that’s easy to follow.
Take a wooden chopping board, some extra fabric, scissors and a tack gun to come up with an interesting and theme-perfect way to brighten up the buffet table.
Procedure:
Cut the fabric to the desired shape. Position on top of the chopping board. Fold the edges neatly, then fasten onto the wood using a tack gun. Create a pocket so you can easily insert the utensils into the fabric.
Whatever your motif is, you can keep changing the fabric, even add extra trimming, and you’ll have a sure-fire conversation piece.
