To celebrate its 20th founding anniversary this November, the country’s first and leading professional culinary education institution, the Center for Culinary Arts (CCA, Manila), will have a string of activities, on the theme “Sustainability, Innovation and Filipino Cuisine to the World.”

The CCA anniversary gala dinner on Nov. 21 at Edsa Shangri-La is a collaboration between CCA culinary director chef Sau del Rosario, Michelin-star French master chef Christian Tetedoie, Disciples Escoffier International chair Robert Fontana and Edsa Shangri-La executive chef Scott Brands.

This will be followed by an international business conference, “The Future of Food: Business Directions for Hospitality and Culinary Leaders,” Nov. 23, at the University of the Philippines Auditorium in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
It has a powerhouse cast of culinary experts who will talk on the most pressing issues.

A CCA grand alumni homecoming is set Nov. 23, 7 p.m., at UP BGC—a fundraising event to benefit the scholars of the Culinary Education Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of The Cravings Group.

Capping the celebration is the “Clash of Clash 2016” on Nov. 25 at the CCA campus in Katipunan, QC. Now on its fourth year, event will have a fiery cook-off, a conference on food and beverage, and hospitality trends and developments.
