Soon enough, Harry Potter fans and muggles may not have to travel all the way to Japan’s Wizarding World of Harry Potter to quaff a mug of butterbeer.
US ice cream giant Yuengling’s debuted its newest product, Yuengling’s Butterbeer Ice Cream, a flavor galvanized from the popular series written by J.K. Rowling, who described butterbeer as “a little bit like less-sickly butterscotch.”
The delectable indulgence is a magical fusion of half-buttercream and half-butterscotch ice creams topped with a swirl of butterscotch.
“We are always looking for ways to inspire our fans and spark creativity. Whether it’s our flavor names and descriptions or the recipes themselves—we’re in the business of having fun,” Yuengling’s Ice Cream president David Yuengling said in a statement. “We hope we made J.K. Rowling proud with this flavor.”
Butterbeer Ice Cream will retail in the US at $3.69 to $3.99 (P168-P199).
