Women’s month was a big month for ShopLCP, the boutique known for its range of flirty, feminine brands like Alice McCall and Mara Hoffman.
LCP, led by its founder Pie Alvarez, hosted a gathering at Manila House for International Women’s Day. Celebrating the likes of Hindy Weber and Apples Aberin, the lunch put the focus on talented women, as seen in the range of guests—from banking to arts to entertainment.
Isabelle Daza, Joseph’s Cristina Cu and banker Anne Alonso mingled with Jam Acuzar of art foundation and gallery Bellas Artes and accessories designer Erica Concepcion-Reyes.
LCP also hosted an instructional gathering for Grace Barbers-Baja, otherwise known as blogger The Spoiled Mummy. Grace has her own line of tableware and skincare. Her product line Grace Home ranges from tea sets and plates to lotions and soaps.
Highlights of her skincare collection are the lotions and soaps scented with sage, ginseng and green tea—an invigorating combination that soothes while energizing the senses.
At LCP, Grace discussed the tenets of branding, having built her own brand from her interest in food, home and style.
“Be passionate about your content,” she advised, “because readers care about that.”
