“Asia’s Next Top Model” winner Maureen Wroblewitz has found a supporter in American TV host-supermodel Tyra Banks.
Banks, who hosts “America’s Next Top Model,” commented on a post of the Filipina-German’s Instagram page. “Pinoy Queen! Mama TyTy is so proud of you!” Banks said. Gushing about Banks’ cheerful gesture, Wroblewitz thanked her via Instagram Stories.
Banks created “Asia’s Next Top Model,” which was a franchise of “America’s Next Top Model.”

Wroblewitz emerged as the winner of the show’s fifth cycle, beating Malaysia’s Shikin Gomez and Vietnam’s Minh Tu Nguyen. Also the youngest and shortest contender yet, Wroblewitz is the first contestant from the Philippines to win “Asia’s Next Top Model.”
For her prize, Wroblewitz snatched a modeling contract with London-based Storm Models Management and a brand-new car. She graced the cover of Nylon Singapore’s July issue as one of the perks of winning the show. Gianna Francesca Catolico /ra
