Ayala Malls just made Christmas shopping less maddening.

While Christmas is one of the most festive holidays in the country, it is also a season associated with heavy traffic and long queues as legions of shoppers troop to the malls.

This year, your Christmas experience—from shopping to entertainment—can be less stressful, thanks to Ayala Mall’s new mindful services for its patrons.

Greater accessibility and convenience await commuters as hubs of P2P buses are installed at strategic locations around the malls. Grab and Uber customers will also be happy to know that there will be promo codes of up to 50-percent off for trips to Ayala Malls. If you’re bringing your own car, there’s valet service available, or you can have a parking slot reserved for 30 minutes so you can park, shop and go without hassle.

“The holiday season is the most celebrated occasion in the country, and we all know it is the busiest time of year,” Rowena Tomeldan, Ayala Malls Group head, said. “Ayala Malls put together a series of initiatives that will make this season easy and convenient for our customers.”

Organic and fresh farm produce at farm gate prices comes to the city as Ayala Malls and the Department of Agriculture hold the TienDA Farmers and Fisherfolks Outlet. It aims to provide farmers and fisherfolks a venue to sell their produce directly to consumers.

“The project seeks to eliminate unnecessary layers of middlemen in the supply chain, hence allowing our farmers and fisherfolks to command fair and reasonable prices for their produce,” Agriculture Undersecretary Bernadette Romulo-Puyat said. “This will also help us assess and analyze the demand for agriculture and fisheries products in the different parts of the country.”

There will be fresh fruits, such as mangoes and pomelos from Region XII; Badaco pasteurized fresh milk from Malvar, Batangas; Tinawon rice from the Cordillera; black rice from Mountain Province; Rose Organic Salted Egg from Sta. Rita, Pampanga; Zamboanga’s famous Alavar Sauce; a variety of organic vegetables and seafood; and much more.

“Catch TienDA sa Ayala Malls” will be at Abreeza on Nov. 18-19; Ayala Center Cebu on Nov. 25-26; UP Town Center on Dec. 2-3; Alabang Town Center on Dec. 9-10; Ayala Malls The 30th on Dec. 16-17; and Solenad on Jan. 18-21.

Wholesome entertainment

Wholesome entertainment also marks this year’s Christmas experience at Ayala Malls.

Steps Dance Studio presents “I Got Stung,” a musical performance inspired by the music of Sting directed and choreographed by James Laforteza, at Ayala Malls The 30th on Nov. 26 with Gian Magdangal; MarQuee Mall on Dec. 2 with Sam Milby; and Ayala Center Cebu on Dec. 9 with Piolo Pascual.

Listen to the winning pieces performed on their recent competition in Vienna, Austria, as the Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra tours the metro, at UP Town Center, Nov. 18; Alabang Town Center, Dec. 1; and TriNoma, Dec. 2.
