This talented local producer has been on a roll with new releases the past few weeks and we just can’t get enough of him. In this song “In Bloom,” yet again from beat tape Orchid, crwn puts together a light ambient track with loads of layers: a subtle backing synth is evident throughout the whole song, while vocal loops set the track’s vibe, smooth guitar playing and a full bass riding the beat. The track also has an unexpected twist when the constant notes are changed up at the latter portion, taking listeners to another place.
All these elements support the track title, “In Bloom,” as we witness a full bloom in less than three minutes. The track will be part of his upcoming live listening party this June 2 at XX XX. In the meanwhile, listen to it here.
