I didn’t expect my column last week, about the reality of alien visitations and UFOs, to elicit many comments from local readers and a couple from abroad. Many of them agreed with my statement that extra-terrestrials (ETs) are real, but were kept secret by governments for fear of public panic and hysteria.

I find such fear unfounded because, if the intention of these presumably advanced aliens was hostile, they would have attacked or destroyed Earth a long time ago. I believe they came to help humankind accelerate their intellectual, spiritual and technical evolution.

One of the most thought-provoking comments I received came from a friend, Dr. James J. Hurtak, Ph.D., president and founder of the Academy for Future Science and an internationally known expert on UFOs, ETs, ultraterrestrials and advanced ancient civilizations.

Public appearance

In his e-mail, Hurtak spoke about the imminent public appearance or contact with cosmic beings, for which we have to be prepared on all levels. Here is Dr. Hurtak’s letter in full:

“Dear Jaime,

“Congratulations on your recent posting of the most important story, that ETs are real, and information on the cosmic presence that will transform reality in the 21st century! You have always been a gifted writer, and it is great that you have a positive internet forum for this important information that can awaken hundreds of thousands of humans to their role as cosmic citizens.

“As you know, I have worked publicly and privately regarding this subject for the last 45 years, in more than 30 countries, entertaining thousands of documents on the cosmic cultures.

“I believe this is just the beginning of a greater disclosure, preparing us for cosmic contact! At that time, everything in life will be given new meaning. I believe major contact is imminent, and we must be positively prepared on all levels—social, psychological, scientific and spiritual—to see the benefits of the ‘trade-offs’ of new knowledge that can help our planetary humanity.

“Your writing and reporting for the public are so important (emphasis on public). Past secrecy about the phenomenon has become dysfunctional. If the current scientific paradigm can support research of the ET presence, such research should be done with conventional open norms and not in the confines of secret laboratories.

“All open-minded investigators will now have to look at the ‘big picture,’ the next step behind the story of human contact with nonhuman cosmic intelligence that will not go away. I am hopeful for the quantum changes ahead.

Higher cosmic beings

Hurtak wrote down amazing channeled messages he received from higher cosmic beings in his now classic book, “Secret Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch.”

The book, according to Hurtak in a letter he wrote to me years ago, speaks of “world changes, including the challenge of politics we are seeing today (e.g. China and the Middle East). This book has been read by two former US Presidents and three American astronauts “who knew of the existence of higher cosmic intelligence,” Hurtak wrote.

“Over 100 scientific predictions in ‘the Keys’ have been validated during the last 40 years, including what is happening in the Middle East.”

The book has been translated into over 30 languages. It has been compared in importance with the prophecies of Nostradamus.

Continued Hurtak in that same old letter: “As you have skillfully prepared much humanity in your part of the world to accept the gifts of higher spiritual intelligence, now you must prepare open-minded humanity (hopefully, in concert with me) to accept the historic challenges ahead of actual mass contact with higher worlds (power of the heavens) who intervene in the course of human history every so many thousands of years to help humanity survive.

“Finally, Jaime. I feel very honored to know you as a friend over the years.”

Incidentally, Hurtak sometimes refers to Enoch as a “Christed Being” or a “Being of Light.” I remember American psychic and prophet Edgar Cayce say, in one of his “psychic readings,” that Enoch was one of the previous incarnations of Jesus Christ.
