A new gadget from Crayola could help children become more creative, or create more cleaning duties for their parents.

Called the Crayola Crayon Melter, the pen works like a glue gun. Kids pop in crayons at the back and out comes melted colorful wax on the other side.

The company unveiled the new toy, along with several other products, at the American International Toy Fair being held between Feb. 17 to 20 in New York.

The Crayon Melter’s tip is low-heat which should prevent kids from getting burned by the dripping molten wax.

More than just being for kids, artistic individuals who favor crayons to make works of art may also find inspiration from the Crayon Melter.

The Crayon Melter pen’s release date has yet to be announced but shoppers may expect a suggested retail price of $24.99 (about P1,300). JB
