Fans of 28-year-old Instagram celebrity and heiress Mina Basaran offered solace in light of the plane crash on Sunday that killed her and 10 others.

While Basaran’s IG account has been set to private, netizens have started to tweet and share some of the last photos Basaran uploaded on IG as a kind of memorial.

One of these photos showed Basaran walking toward the plane while carrying a big bouquet. Printed on the back of her leather jacket were the words “#bettertogether Mrs. Bride.”

Another showed the heiress lounging in the plane’s cabin.

One tweet showed the whole group in one photo that included Basaran and her friends plus the plane’s all-female crew. The netizen who shared the image criticized those who said it was good that these “rich girls” died in the plane crash.

Mina Basaran was a Turkish socialite who was also part of the board of managers of their family business, Basaran Investment Holding. She was the daughter of businessman Huseyin Basaran. Mina Towers in Istanbul was named after her and it was the biggest construction project in the area.

Basaran also wrote about her travels in several print and online publications. She and her friends came from a bachelorette party in Dubai and were flying back to Turkey when the plane crashed in Iran.

According to a previous report, the plane rapidly gained altitude and then dropped drastically within minutes. Villagers said they saw flames coming from the plane before it hit the ground. /ra
