MANILA, Philippines — Unveiling what could’ve been another gown for Catriona Gray during the Miss Universe pageant, designer Mak Tumang earned praises from netizens for yet another stunning creation.

 

In a Facebook post on Wednesday, the designer behind Gray’s orange “Ibong Adarna” piece and Mayon-inspired lava gown, revealed another gown created for the beauty queen, this time inspired by the “Pearl of the Orient Seas.”

In his post, Tumang shared sketches of the sparkling teal ang gold slitted gown which he said “is an extolment of the Philippines.”

 

 

The post also included a video of Gray showcasing the gown with her signature walk.

 

 

Netizens were awed by the designer’s creation and praised Tumang for his artistry and creativity.
