Wine drinkers’ empty bottles may now come in handy.

We use old wine bottles as vases for a table setting. We line them up in the center of a rectangular table to lift the elegance factor a notch higher.

Tip: Use a table runner to enhance the setup. Add votive candles around or cork fairy lights.

 

You will need:

Old wine bottles

Several slim green stems. Greater variety makes for a visually  interesting grouping.

 

Line up the wine bottles at the center of the table. Leave gaps in between so your guests can still see each other. Make sure you choose thinner-leafed stems so these do not completely block table conversation.
