Psalm West, the latest member of the Kardashian-West klan, is barely a month old but he’s set to be an heir to a beauty empire.
Dazed Beauty reports that mom Kim Kardashian filed 16 trademarks for her son’s name. The trademarks are for businesses in skincare and body care, fragrances, hair care along with hair accessories, and nail polish. Did Kim K miss out anything? Makeup, I guess. But that’s taken care of via her own brand KKW Beauty. Last May 24, she launched a Mrs. West collection, inspired by her wedding day to Kanye West, and it sold out in 7 minutes. Perhaps Kim didn’t want to put too much pressure on her youngest son.

For us earthlings, names mean something sentimental. For the Kardashians and the Jenners, it’s a money-making opportunity.
Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner took out trademarks for “Kylie Hair,” “Kylie Hair by Kylie Jenner,” and “Kylie Baby.” This report comes a few days after the launch of Kylie Skin, her line of skincare products. You know the meme “The Devil works hard but Kris Jenner works harder”? It’s safe to say that Kris’ kids took after that hustle.
Kendall Jenner also seems to be eyeing a few business plans, getting trademarks for her name. The supermodel will be soon hawking her own cosmetics line which includes, hair care, fragrance, bath and shower gels, body creams, beauty masks, deodorant, lip gloss, nail polish, and nail care. Because where else would you put your money if you’ve been ranked as one of the highest paid models in the world?
