Hanging paintings to make your walls come alive involves a lot of planning and precision. We have to make sure that the paintings are hanging at the right height.
One thing we have to look out for when drilling a hole into the wall are particles of dust in the area.
This DIY activity will show you how to eliminate most of the dust by creating a “dust collector.”
Method:
You will need an empty soda plastic bottle and a cutter.
Cut the bottle from the base at a 45-degree angle.
Cutting the bottle will allow you to situate the bottle parallel to the wall when drilling, allowing you to catch all the dust.
Before you drill a hole on the wall, place the bottle against the wall so you can establish where you should then put a hole on the plastic bottle so the drill bit can fit in.
