Special folds make a special table! With a little time and a little skill, you can turn an ordinary table setting into a work of art. Start with the simplest materials you might already have on hand.

Materials:

Cloth dinner napkin, at least 18” x 18”

Napkin ring or any ring with a 2” diameter opening

Spread out the cloth napkin.

Fold one side of the napkin into the center.

Fold the other side into the center, meeting the other half but slightly overlapping.

Gather the short end into accordion folds.

Once folded through, fit into the napkin ring.

Spread out both sides, fan-like, until both ends on each side meet making a round shape. INQ You may use fancier rings for added fun.
