QUICK QUIP: Aryanna Epperson on keeping a peachy outlook | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

In the influencer sphere, there are no lockdowns. I asked YouTube personality, TV host, and former VJ Aryanna Epperson about it.

“Throughout quarantine, I’ve started a lot of little projects aside from what I used to do before. I do Hangry Management, a series of short videos featuring easy recipes. I also stream on GeekSpeak PH every Monday at 8:00 pm with Justin Quirino, Alex Sy, and Vince Velasco. It’s a fun, geeky show about all things pop culture, superheroes, movies, anime, and more. I also do game streaming on my own Facebook page Tuesday to Friday nights,” she says about expanding her content beyond her usual video fare like #AryannaInAMinute.

Aryanna found that being at home meant getting down to what you’re really about. “The more time I spend at home, the more I feel like I get to know myself. It’s given me time to hone my skills and challenged me to be creative with what I can do indoors. I’ve gotten into drawing again.”

Exploring the great indoors bore fruit for her: All Peachy. Aryanna talks to us about launching an Instagram business and more.

What is All Peachy? What’s the story behind the name?
All Peachy is a cute store that sells stuff you didn’t know you needed in your life. We’ve got a bunch of cute accessories, bags, and original art prints. I love the expression “Everything is all peachy”, meaning it’s everything is all good in the hood. Aside from that, my personal aesthetic always includes a hint of the color peach.

How did you go about choosing items for your first launch?
I picked a bunch of stuff that encompasses the all peachy brand—literal peach accessories, bags, and artwork, plus things that will generally make you feel good and peachy.

Why did you pursue All Peachy despite the pandemic?
I’ve always been business-minded and looking for something new to do. When it comes to anything I create, I have the intention of providing people with a product, service, or experience that benefits them and helps make life easier. Sometimes, owning a fluffy peach headband or putting on a pair of strawberry milk socks can brighten your day or put a smile on your face.

Did you make the prints yourself? Let us know your process for that.
All of the prints that are currently released are made by me. You can look forward to more designs from me and maybe a future collab with some of my artist friends. I now sell individual A4 Art prints and a set of three 5×7″ art cards.

On the stay at home life

What’s your favorite room?
It’s the cozy little nook at the entrance of my room. It features a tall mirror, a grid wall panel adorned with cute photos, artwork, prints from All Peachy, my pink trolley, and my new plant named Penny.

At-home look that makes you feel better?
I live in matching neutral bralettes and track shorts. I can’t even remember the last time I wore a wired bra. If it’s not cozy or comfy, I’m not wearing it.

I noticed your fitness story on Instagram. Let us know more about it.
I’ve lost over 16 lbs over the course of lockdown since March. It’s been a long journey but worth it. I made sure to eat within my recommended calorie intake and workout when I could. It was usually doing yoga three times a week.

Lately, it’s more about portion control without being too strict with my diet. I still eat carbs because bread is life! I like to try new desserts all the time, but I make sure to share it with family and friends.

What are you looking forward to?
I try not to think too much of the future, but more about what we can do with what we have now. I do know that eventually, things will be all peachy real soon.
