Except for math problems, Angelica Panganiban is not about to shy away from the challenge of answering all sorts of questions in her new digital show “Ask Angelica”.

Open book ako,” she said when asked about how far she can go on answering questions, during a Zoom press conference yesterday, Sept. 19. (When it comes to that, I am known by people as a very candid person. I’m an open book.)

(I don’t put a mask on and I say what I really feel, or if I recall an experience, I just say it. I am very open when it comes to that, I would go, “I remember something, this is what I went through.”)

Panganiban stressed that what’s important is she gets to connect with the audience.

How it all started

Panganiban shared that the digital show is the result of a promo which she does whenever she has a movie coming out.

Then, every project na ginagawa ko, may ganito na, may Ask Angelica,” she said.

(We were doing this with Star Cinema whenever we promote a movie. I think it all started with “Unmarried Wife”. Then, for my every project, there’s an “Ask Angelica”.)

“Masaya kasi siyang gawin, eh. At some point, makaka-relate at makaka-relate ka talaga,” she shared.

(It’s fun to do. It’s heartwarming to listen to issues concerning people, their problems, what they went through. At some point, you will really relate with them. It’s also good to share what you went through when you went through the same problem, to share how you survived.)

“Ask Angelica” is available on the social media accounts of ABS-CBN Films, the YouTube channels of Sinehub and MyChos, at Kapamilya Online Live streams and Kumu. JB
