Weather man and TV host Kim Atienza loves doing his workouts, which include doing various exercises along with golf, biking, swimming and running. But he does all these with certain limitations.
As part of his usual practice, Atienza documents the progress of his exercises on his social media, as seen on his Instagram account today as well, Oct. 22. He reported to fans that he ran 11 kilometers in his neighborhood and an artist-photographer friend.

Yesterday, he shared a short video showing him biking around the Mall of Asia area.
“I love to run, I love this town. Thank you for the privilege Lord,” he said, noting that he had 40 kilometers of peloton work at the seaside loop.
Atienza feels that just like anything, he has to take exercise in moderation.
“Its important to keep fit but not too fit as to compromise the immune system,” he explained. “I swim bike and run now so I can eat, so I can feel good throughout the day. No need to get race fit, wala namang karera (there is no race).”
The race we have now is against the Covid-19, he stressed, so taking precautionary measures during the pandemic is the more important thing to do.
“Sleep well, eat well and exercise. This virus will stay,” he warned. “We can live as normal as we can, biking and dancing with this pest with proper precautions.” JB
