Breville Philippines’ wraps up Month-Long Virtual Coffee Hub Festival | Lifestyle.INQ

OCTOBER 27, 2022

Everything and anything coffee took front and center at the recent Breville Coffee Hub, a virtual event thrown by Breville Philippines, one of the leading distributors of premium-quality kitchen appliances in the country. The festival, which also celebrated the brand’s 10th year in the industry, gathered caffeine-loving enthusiasts and connected them with the experts who taught them practical recipes and creative tips about everyone’s favorite morning cup.

As a brand that stays solid on its mission to elevate the way consumers enjoy their home lifestyle, Breville Philippines invited reputable names in the industry to share their knowledge about coffee. Among those who participated are Chef Edward David Mateo of the La Royale Patisserie Food Group, Dave Dource who is the Academic Director of the Philippine Chapter of Barista Guild Asia, Chef Louise Mabulo, and Robert Francisco and Pacita Juan of the Philippine Coffee Board, Inc.

Participants of the virtual sessions learned how to make coffee-flavored desserts, make latte art, and even practical uses of coffee for both food and non-food uses. The event also held its first-ever virtual contests, the “Pour Your Art Out: A Virtual Latte Art Challenge” and “Coffee Rush Challenge,” which challenged contestants to come up with their best latte art creations and homemade coffee-themed cakes.

The event, however, focused on more than just coffee—it also highlighted the overall experience that the drink brings to everyone. To really drive home the message that enjoying your homemade cup of joe is just as good as buying from stores, Breville Philippines also held virtual music sessions for the participants—a perfect cherry on top that brought the coffee shop experience straight to their homes.

Culminating the event is a coffee house music session with Ava Santos, the second vocalist of the beloved local band Freestyle. Santos crooned everyone with her wonderful, soothing voice and took the time to connect and chat with those who participated in the virtual session.

As a provider of some of the most innovative kitchen partners in the country, Breville has always been focused on elevating the way drinks are enjoyed at home by providing consumers with products that produce quality cups. Among its best-sellers are the Barista Express Espresso Machine and the Precision Brewer Thermal Coffee Maker which makes it easy and accessible for everyone to enjoy third wave and cafe-quality coffee at home.

Now that they have passed a decade in the industry, their passion for bringing the best cups to their customers only shines brighter. More than just a company that lets people enjoy their home creations, they also continue to shape a harmonious community that brings together its customers, partners, and other stakeholders who are set to live a sustainable lifestyle.

The brand’s efforts surely don not end at the successful closing of their virtual event, too. Customers and all coffee lovers, in general, can visit https://foodthinkers.com.ph/ to access some of their recipes and guides as well as their Facebook and Instagram for inspiration.
