Parokya ni Edgar frontman Chito Miranda has shared about his son Miggy’s penchant for horseback riding.
The rockstar made the revelation in his Instagram post yesterday, June 23, where he shared some photos of Miggy with some horses, and a video where he is horseback riding with the help of an assistant.
“Baby pa lang si Miggy, mahilig na sya mag-horseback riding,” Miranda said. (Even when Miggy was still a baby, he already enjoys horseback riding.)
Miranda recalled visiting a zoo near their house so that his son would be able to do horseback riding even for a short time. But this stopped when the country was hit by the pandemic. Last week, though, Miranda and his family went to Baguio and his son was able to experience horseback riding again.

Aside from that, he was recently informed by one of their neighbors in Alfonso, Cavite of this neighbor’s private equestrian facility in town. Immediately, Miranda and his family visited the place and was amazed at how beautiful it was.
“Unfortunately, masyado pa daw bata si Miggy para mag-lessons,” Miranda said. “Pero pwede daw kami dumaan dun anytime para masakyan ni Miggy yung mga smaller horses at ponies nila dun.”
(Unfortunately, Miggy is still too young to take riding lessons. But our neighbor said we can drop by the place anytime so Miggy can ride the smaller horses and ponies there.)
Miggy is Miranda’s son with his wife, actress and entrepreneur Neri Naig, who is already pregnant with their second child. JB
