While former broadcaster Ces Drilon firmly believes it is unhealthy to be affected by stress, she admits to having fallen under stressful situations many times.
Drilon spoke about her recent interview for Lifestyle Asia and her thrilling experience of being a cover girl, as per her Instagram post on Friday, July 2. She then shared that the interview gave her a chance to talk about the tough time she had last year, along with everybody. Drilon is also one of those who lost their jobs after the ABS-CBN shutdown.
For Drilon, acknowledging that one is not ok is “the first step to healing.” She said her motto, “#bawalmastressdrilon,” does not always work.
“And I admit it, for awhile, I was desperately fighting it. It was only when I admitted to myself that I was overwhelmed and weakened that I began to heal and get better,” she revealed. “I faced these challenges head on, stopped and just watched the sunrise or the sunset, focused on gains instead of losses, tried to lend a helping helping hand, took care of myself more, and am now facing better days.”
