Art Anton presents “Visual Interpolations,” a group show featuring the works of the following Thomasian artists: Rosario Bitanga, Juno Galang, Edgar Doctor, Raul Isidro, Ramon Orlina, Anita del Rosario, Fil Delacruz, Jess Flores, Lydia Velasco, Marge Organo, Elmer Dumlao, Anna de Leon, Lisa Villaseñor, Chris Pizarro, Jaime Nepomuceno, Richard Buxani, Meneline Wong, Milmar Onal, Juert Asejo, Janos Delacruz, Summer de Guia and Rona Marinas.
“Visual Interpolations” is organized by Ms. Marissa Pe Yang, president of the University of Santo Tomas-College of Fine Arts and Design Alumni Association, which aims to bring the whole Thomasian community of artists together. This exhibition aims to showcase generational practices and styles embodied by Thomasian seniors, midcareer, and up-and-coming young artists. The show runs until Sept. 24. ‘Appassionata II’ at Galerya Amalia
The concept is the driving force that propels the works of five women artists, who have banded together as a group known as Appassionata Artists. They are Rosario Bitanga, Imelda Cajipe Endaya, Lenore RS Lim, Susan Fetalvero-Roces and Maria Victoria Rufino. The virtual and live exhibition runs from Sept. 18 to Oct. 18.
