While it is true that she has already lost considerable weight, Angel Locsin feels she is still a “work in progress.”
Locsin’s recent photo on Instagram has gone viral as it showed her in a slimmer form. She was quickly lauded by fellow celebrities such as Marian Rivera, Anne Curtis, Angelica Panganiban, and her husband Neil Arce, among many others. Her fans, of course, were also ecstatic.

But Locsin made it clear that knowing how to pose and angle one’s self in a photo could enhance the appearance of looking slim, she said yesterday on her page, Sept. 22. This time, she shared a photo of herself squeezing her belly, and painted with a smiley face.

For those with weight problems, Locsin advised them not to feel pressured.
“I tell you that I understand that it’s not easy, having been fighting weight gain for years. Pressure did not and will not help. Just take your time. Your body, your rules. Just don’t forget to love every inch of you in the process, no matter what other people may say,” she said.
“What’s important is how you feel and think of yourself. Shine. Don’t let the perception of others dim your light. I know you are trying. I know it’s hard. I understand,” she added.
Of course, Locsin feels good now that she’s slimmer but she admits that the journey had not been “without struggles and bumps.”
“I will not let anyone dictate my pace. But I am looking forward to what I can achieve in the next [three] months or so. Love you, fats and all,” she said to fans, while also telling them that she will update them of her progress more in the future, when she already feels more confident. JB
